Wednesday, July 23, 2024, the Head of the Biology Study Program, Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN STS Jambi, Bayu Kurniawan, S.Si., M.Sc, carried out benchmarking activities to the Department of Biology FMIPA, Yogyakarta State University. The purpose of the activity was to obtain information related to the MBKM curriculum and program as well as tridharma activities in the Department of Biology FMIPA UNY, especially in the S1 Biology Study Program. The discussion was held with the Head of the Department and the Biology S1 Study Program of FMIPA UNY, Dr. Anna Rakhmawati; Department Secretary Dr. Evy Yulianti, and MBKM Coordinator of the Biology Study Program, Dr. Ixora Sartika Mercuriani.

The discussion provided an understanding of education management at the study program level and how the MBKM program is run at FMIPA UNY. The implementation of this visit will be realized, especially the exchange of lecturers into journal reviews in each study program and other academic activities.  This benchmarking activity was also continued with the preparation of the Cooperation Agreement (PKS) and Implementation Agreement (IA). The results of this activity are expected to be able to support SDGs activities, namely improving quality education and partnerships to achieve goals.
