Lecturer Team of the Department of Biology Education Conducts Workshop on Identifying Potential Food Hazards

Health is one of the most important things in every human life. One of the diseases that can interfere with health is foodborne diseases. One of the efforts to overcome these problems is the ability to identify potential chemical, physical, and biological hazards of foodstuffs. A team of lecturers and students from the Department of Biology Education held a workshop on identifying potential food hazards among high school students in Wonogiri Regency, Central Java. The activity was held on July 26, 2024, at SMAN 2 Wonogiri with the participation of 30 high school students in the Wonogiri Regency area, Central Java. The activity began with the material provision by Dr. Bernadetta Octavia, Dr. Ir. Suhartini, and Dr. Anna Rakhmawati. The next stage is a video screening on hazard identification methods, which ends with the practice of identifying food hazards.
