Family Gathering Department of Biology Education

The Department of Biology Education successfully held a Family Gathering event in Pacitan, East Java, on July 27, 2024. This activity served as a meaningful opportunity to strengthen togetherness among lecturers, staff, and the extended academic community.

The event featured visits to several popular tourist destinations, including Goa Gong, Sungai Maron, and Pantai Klayar. All members of the Biology Education Department, along with staff from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, actively participated in the event.

The journey began with a visit to Goa Gong, one of the most iconic caves in Pacitan. The participants then continued to Sungai Maron, where they enjoyed a relaxing boat trip while exploring the natural beauty of the river. This activity became one of the highlights of the gathering, as it allowed participants to experience nature in a refreshing and enjoyable way.

The final destination was Pantai Klayar, where participants spent time enjoying the scenic coastal view. The moment became even more memorable as they watched the sunset together by the beach, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere.

The event concluded with a collective prayer, marking the end of the gathering before returning to Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Overall, the Family Gathering not only provided recreation but also strengthened the sense of unity and belonging within the department.
