Yamaguchi, Japan — A Community Service (PkM) team from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) conducted a socialization program on the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) in Yamaguchi, Japan. Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam — Dr. Tatag Bagus Putra Prakarsa, S.Si., M.Sc., a lecturer in the Biology Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), participated in the prestigious The 5th International Southeast Asian Bat Conference 2024 (SEABCO 2024) held on December 25–28 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

The Biology Education Department, through the Student Association of the Biology Education Department (Himabio) at FMIPA Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY), is strengthening a biology-based entrepreneurial ecosystem within the campus. One of the key efforts is partnering with industry practitioners and business actors as strategic collaborators. This collaboration aims to provide students with hands-on experience in building and developing startups while still in university.
