Apt. Andrea Dhieta Utama Explores Anticancer Phytopharmaceuticals in UNY Guest Lecture

Topical Innovation in Gotu Kola Nanotechnology: UNY Students Develop a Promising Solution for Diabetic Ulcers

Students of Yogyakarta State University (UNY) have once again demonstrated their innovative capacity through the Student Creativity Program in Exact Research (PKM-RE). A student research team successfully developed a topical powder formulation based on Nanostructured Lipid Carriers (NLC) containing asiaticoside derived from Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica) as a potential treatment for diabetic ulcers (DU). Diabetic ulcers are a serious complication of diabetes mellitus, often associated with a high risk of infection, amputation, and even mortality.

Dua orang staf pengajar dari Departemen Pendidikan Biologi, FMIPA, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta mengikuti Annual International Training Course 2025 di Thailand. Beliau adalah Dr. Agung Wijaya Subiantoro dan Rio C. Handziko, S.Pd.Si., M.Pd. yang mendapatkan kesempatan untuk mengikuti pelatihan yang bertajuk Climate Change and Health Adaptation from Climate Change.
