In order to commemorate the Earth Day which falls on April 22, 2019, BSO ARWANA UNY held a butterfly host plant planting activity as a form of caring for the preservation of butterflies. This activity was held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in the FMIPA UNY area by a number of members.
The host plant used is a type of Aristolochia tagala (betel forest) which is a host plant of the butterfly Troides helena and Pachliopta aristolochiae where the butterfly is an icon for BSO ARWANA UNY.
